- Ss play a game. T uses the network to Ss play
2. Presentation
* Pre- Listening
- T shows the picture with the name sports
- Ss prepare ( 1 minute)
- T asks Ss to work in group
- Each group has a student to go to the blackboard and match.
- The group with the right answers wins.
* Ss listen to the tape ( twice)
- Listen again and check their answer in pairs
- T calls some Ss to give their answers.
- T gives the right answers and plays the recording again if Ss don't listen anything.
* T shows the part 2 and asks ss read the content of this part.
- T plays the recording again. While Ss listen, they have to write down T or F
- Ss check their answers in pairs.
- Have some Ss to gives their answers in front of the class.
- T checks their answers and gives the correct answers.

- Ask Ss to write the name of the cities they know and where they are.
- T asks them to locate the cities on the map or a globe.
- After that Ss look at Mai and Tom and teacher introduces them

- T asks Ss to give the name of the cities in the photos and asks them to support their answers
- T plays the recording.
- Ss listen and find out new words and new structure
- T can explain the new word by picture

- T divides Ss into 4 groups.
- If the group writes more words, they will win.
* Or T can show some pictures on the screen and ask Ss to find the adjectives to describe them.
2. Presentation
* Teacher asks them read aloud the words in task 1.
- Ss can work in pairs
+ Match the words in A with their opposites in B.
- Point out that some adjectives in the left column can have more than one opposites in the right column.
- T gives feedback.
- Have Ss practise reading the adjectives.
- If there is time, T can asks Ss to use these words to describe the four cities that Mai and Tom talked about.
- Ss copy in notebook.

1. Warm up
- T divides the class into 4 groups
- T asks one group to make sentences with the present simple tense, the past simple.
- Have some Ss in each group to write the sentences on the board.
2. Presentation
- T lets Ss to read the conversation again in Getting Started.
- Ss underlined all the verbs in the present perfect.
- T asks Ss to read the use of the grammar box and help you explain that present perfect is used to show that one has had or has never had this experience.
- Provide the for of the present perfect.
 ( notice the past participle.)
- T writes the form on the board.
- Ss copy in their notebook.
- T asks Ss to give examples with it
- T asks Ss to look for the original verb of the past participles in the conversation ( notice the use of " ever and never"
- Ss play a game : Board Race": write two lists of the verbs on the board.
+Two teams will race to the board to write the past participles of these verbs.
+ Each team gets one point for the correct participle. The team that finishes first gets extra points. 
3. Practice
- After Ss finishing that exercise, T asks Ss to read aloud the verbs.
- Ss read exercise 2

- T explains : The present perfect is used to describe one's experiences and it is not important to state the exact time when they happened. Contract this with the present simple which describes a repeated action, or a truth, and adverbs of frequency when something happened are often mentioned.
