1. Look, listen and repeat:

- Tell ss that they are going to ask and answer question about someone, Give ss a few seconds for ss to look at the picture and read the texts. Point to the first picture and elicit what each character says. Give feedback and have ss repeat the text a few times. Repeat the procedure with the second picture.

-Do choral and individual repetition, pointing to the characters speaking.

-Play the recording for Ps to listen and say along.

2. Point and say.

- Tell Ps that they are going to practice asking and answering question about someone, using Is that + (name)? Point to Picture a and elicit the name of the character and what is said about him. Give feedback and put the question and answer on the board. Have ss repeat each of the sentences a few times. Repeat the procedure with the other pictures.

- Do choral and individual repetition, pointing to the characters.

- Get ss to work in pair. Check as the class

3. Let’s talk.

- Tell ss that they are going to practice more with their friends. Ask them to look at the pictures and read the text. Check comprehension and elicit the words to fill the gaps. Put the question and the answer on the board. Have ss repeat them a few times

-Get ss to work in pairs. Using the characters’ names in the book or their classmates’ names.

A. Warm up: 
-Checking the old lesson

B. Main lesson

Language note:
Tell Ps that It’s and It isn’t are the contracted from of It is and It is not respectively. They are used in speaking.
 It’s = it is
 It isn’t = it is not 
D. Homework : 
-Tell the other friends with question and answer is that + name? Yes/no.
-Learn by heart the Sentences patterns.
-Practice the speaking, writing skills at home
-Prepare the next lesson : unit 3, lesson 2, part 4,5,6
