SENTENCES WITH “WISH” AND “IF ONLY”
Future wish
S1 + wish + S2+ would +Vinf
If only + S + Would + Vinf
E.g.: 	I wish she would be here tomorrow. 
If only I would take the trip with you next Sunday.
Present wish
S1+ wish + S2 +Ved 
If only + S + Ved
E.g.:	 I wish I could fly. I wish I were in the swimming pool now.
If only Ben were here.
Past wish
S1 + wish + S2 + had + PP
S1 + Wish + S2 + Could have + PP
If only + S + Had + PP
E.g.: 	I wish we hadn't made that mistake.
She wished she could have been there.
If only I had met her yesterday.
