* Lead-in:
Today, we will learn U13: Films and cinema, lesson 1: Reading.
II. Pre-reading:
Pre-teach Vocabulary
1. cinema (n): rạp chiếu phim
2. discover (v): khám phá ra, tìm ra 
3. sequence (n): chuỗi, sự liên tiếp 
4.character (n): nhân vật, vai diễn
5. audience (n): khán giả
6. motion (n) = movement (n): sự chuyển động 
7. scene (n): cảnh quay 
* Checking vocabularies
- Show the pictures to students 
- Ask Ss to match each picture with the suitable name
1- ask students look at the picture page 132, ask them what is this in Vietnamese? Ask in English.
2- you find out something that nobody didn’t know it before. Tell me in Vietnamese.
3- A ralated or continuous series.
4- Tom and Jerry are 2 characters in the film.

7- ask students the word “ cảnh quay ” in English.
-Write the new words on the board
- Read these new words 2 times. 
-Read again and ask Ss to repeat then.

- Ask students to write down the words into their notebook and learn by heart these words at home.
