Set the scene: Hoa and Nam are talking about what they feel about some kinds of film
Hoa: which do you prefer, love story films or cartoon films?
Nam: well, it’s difficult to say. But I suppose I prefer cartoon films to love story films.
Hoa: what do you think of love story films?
Nam: oh, I find them really moving. And you?
Hoa: I don’t quite agree with you. I find them very boring.

Lead in . I. Pre-speaking 1. Vocabulary 1- detective film : phim trinh thám → Conan and Sherlock Holmes are detective films. Can you tell me the meaning of detective film? 2- moving (adj): cảm động → (situation) you cry a lot when you see the main character in the film die. It means you feel.(moving) 3- horror film (n): phim kinh dị → tell some films: số 23 bí ẩn, ngọn đồi có mắt, ngôi nhà rùng rợn. what kind of filn they are. terrifying (adj): khiếp sợ, kinh hãi → how do you feel when you see horror film, ( if you see a snake?) 5- violent (adj): bạo lực → (example) the characters fight each other in the film, what do you think ? 6- thriller (n): truyện/kịch/phim có nội dung ly kỳ → (translation) how do you say phim có nội dung ly kỳ in English? Hoa: Who are the main characters? Nam: They are Conan, Muri detective, and Ran. Hoa: Why do you like it? Nam: Because it’s interesting. III. Post-Speaking Write a paragraph that talks about a film you like best. ( if don’t have time enough, it will be the homework) - Class, look at the board and tell me some types of films you know. - How do you think (about cartoon film)? Now, we will study some types of films and their characteristic in part B, speaking. - T uses some techniques to elicit new words - T says each word 2 times. - T calls ss to repeat in choral and individual. - as - T asks ss to copy on their notebooks. - T asks Ss to work in pairs in two minutes - T gives model.
