- Students repeat the sounds, in chorus and individually

- Let ss watch the video clips of native speaker to see how they pronounce the sounds /s/-/z/.

Practising

- Ask ss to look at the screen, listen to the tape and repeat.

- Remind ss to pronounce the sound /s/ if they see 1, /z/ if they see 2 when practicing with sentences.

Educational aim: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to pronounce the sound /s/ and /z/ correctly, use to-infinitive to express purposes and make Wh-questions appropriately.

a. General knowledge: + Distinguish the sounds /s/ and /z/
	 + Use to-infinitive to talk about purposes 
	 + Make Wh-questions appropriately
b. Language: Words related to pronunciation /s/ - /z/
Skill: Listening, Speaking, Writing, etc.

WARM – UP: KIM’S GAME (4’)
- Teacher gives instruction: “First, I would like to divide our class into two teams. I will show you some pictures on the screen. You have to remember all items on these pictures as much as you can. Then your team’s leader will go to the board and write down what items you’ve seen. You will get one mark for one correct answer. Which team has more correct answer will be the winner”.
