Nam invites his friend-Lam, who is now living in a different town, to spend a weekend with him. Help Nam to write a letter.

- T lets ss to work individually in 10 minutes.

- T goes around to help ss if necessary

I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to write a letter of invitation.

I. WARM UP: make a meaningful sentence
- T writes on the board the sentence and asks ss to make a meaningful sentence.

 1) Have you written a letter of invitation? On which occasion?

"Dear Lam,
We haven't met since you moved. And I miss you a lot.
We are both having some days- off between the two terms soon. So if you haven't made any other plans why don't we spend a weekend together?
Do you feel like visiting the forest near my grandparents' home again? It looks quite different now because very many young trees have been planted at the Trees Planting Festivals.
Do come if you find it possible and I'll make all the preparations then.
Please give my love to your parents.
