- Ask and answer questions about they like doing and their hobby.
- Listen to dialogues about someone's hobby, what someone like doing.
- Write about someone's hobby, what someone like doing.
- Practice listening, writing skill.

some Ss to read aloud their answers, put these answers on the board. - Play the recording again to check the correct answers and Ss' predictation. Let’s chant: (7 minutes) Tell Ss that they are going to read the Flying a little kite chant. - Hang the poster of the chant on the board. - Have them read each line of the lyrics. Explain the new words or structures, if necessary. Check their comprehension and give feedback. - Play the recording all the way through. Ask Ss to do choral and individual repetition of the chant. - When Ss are familiar with the tune, ask the whole class read aloud the chant and clap hands or do actions. - Ask Ss to do the chant in groups. Go around and offer help, if necessary. - Divide class into two groups, and ask them to do the chant, and then call two small groups of four Ss to the front of the class to say the chant. The rest of the class claps along to the rhythm. - Give comment and correct their pronunciation, if necessary. Objectives: Students will be able to: - Students will be able to read an email which Mai writes to her penfriend for specific information to complete sentences and write a reply email to Mai. - Practice reading and writing skills. II. Language focus: Sentence patterns: - Mai is ___________ years old. - She likes________ and ___________. - She doesn't like ______________. - She wants a_____________. III. Resources: Ss’ book, picture, chalk IV. Procedure: Steps / Time Learning activities Language focus Modes 1.Warm - up: (5 minutes) -Call two groups to chant “Flying a little kite” and do actions in front of the class. Correct their pronunciation if necessary. -Ask the whole class to say this chant again. Groups Whole class 2.Read and complete (11 minutes) Tell Ss that they are going to read the Mai's email and get specific information to complete the below sentences. -Ss read the email, look at the sentences in a few seconds in silence and focus on how old she is, what does she like doing, what doesn't she like doing, what does she want. And guess the words to fill in the blanks. -Ss do the task independently. Go around and offers help, if necessary. -As Ss to swap their answers before checking as a class. -Call some Ss to give their answers and explanation. -T corrects and gives feedbacks. Add your photo and write a reply email to Mai. (10 minutes) Tell Ss that they are going to add their photo and write a reply email to Mai, start by Dear Mai, -Ss look at the box and read the sentence in silence in a few seconds. -Ss work in pairs or groups to discuss about what they are going to write, focus on introducing their name, ages, what they like doing or don’t like doing, what they want, their photo.... -Check their comprehension and give feed back. Ask Ss to elicit what they write, remind them to base on part 4 to write about them. -Ss do the task independently. Go around and offer help, if necessary. -Ask Ss to swap their answers before checking as a class. -Call some Ss to write their answers on the board. -Correct and give feedback. Explains the activity and focus on the things they will collect. -T gives each student a small card, Ss write the basic information about themselve such as name, age, class, hobby and stick these things on this card. -Ss work in pairs, wrap their own cards before checking as a class. -Call some Ss to the front of the class and tell about their card. (Pause after each line for Ss to repeat). - Ss practise the dialogue in 2 minutes. - T calls some pairs or groups practise in front of the class.
