1. Warm - up: (5’)
- Ask Ss some questions:
 + How do you feel?
 + Are you hot?
 + Are you thirsty?
2. Pre - Speaking: (10’)
- Ask Ss to listen to the tape the dialogue about Nhan and Dung
Ex: I’m cold à I want a hot drink
- Give the cues words.
+ hot / cold drink
+ hungry / noodles
+ thirsty / a drink
- Say the model sentences:
+ What the matter, _____? à I am cold.
+ What do you want? à I want a hot drink.
- Ask Ss to practice in pair.
3. While - Speaking: (17’)
- Ask Ss to look at the pictures, listen to the cassette and match the names with the right pictures.
- Call some Ss to give the answer. 
+ Phuong - b): 
Phuong is thirsty. 
 She’d like a drink.
+ Nhan - a): Nhan is hungry.
 He’d like noodles.
+ Ba - f): Ba is full.
+ Huong - d): Huong is cold.
4. Post - Speaking: (10’)
- Ask Ss to play game “ Lucky number”

- Correct the mistakes.
- Ask Ss to look at the picture part 5/p. 111 and tell the names of food and drink.
- Play the tape 2 times and ask Ss to match the names of people with what they would like.
