Aim: Reading a picture story about Ba’s daily routine to practice Simple present tense. II. Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to understand about Ba’s daily routine to practice Simple present tense. III. Teaching aids: Posters, Word cards, Pictures , textbook IV. Procedure: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Content I-Warm up ( 5’) The Two of us -Prepare 16 word cards for 16 Ss taking part in the game. - Give out 8 cards to 8 Ss who mustn’t move and 8 cards to the ones allowed to move ( make sure each student can’t read his (her) own card ) - S looks at the pictures and his (her) friends’ cards to choose the one whose card is believed to be well matched. ( for 20 seconds ) - The ones who have correct results win The Two Of Us. - Listen to the teacher. - Try to find out the one whose card is believed to be well matched . - go à to school - have à breakfast - play à games - do à the housework - get à up - watch à TV - listen to à music - read à books II- New lesson ( 5’) Elicit vocabulary.
