2. Though they are intelligent, they can’t do that test. (Cấu tạo: Chủ ngữ là đại từ - be - Adj)
--> Despite their intelligence, they can’t do that test.
3. Though her life is hard, she seems happy. (Chủ ngữ là danh từ - be - adj) 
--> Despite her hard life, she seems happy. 
4. Though there was a crowd, he came home early. (There be + danh từ)
--> Despite a crowd, he came home early.
*Lưu ý: 
1) Though = Although = Even though
2) Despite = In spite of
