- Ask sts open their book to page 70.
- Have sts look at the pictures in this section to identify the activities.Tell them that they are going to look at the pictures,read the samples and guess the approprite language to fill in the blanks.
 - Ask sts do the task individually .
- Ask sts to trade their answer within pairs or groups for correction. 
- Call on some sts to read the sentences. 
- Check sts' comprehension .
- Have the whole class read each line of the dialogues chorally to reinforce their pronunciation.

- Put the piece of paper with the phonic written on the board and play the recording and read aloud .Draw Sts’attention to the sounds that are difficult to pronounce such as which,pens,pencils,breaks.
- Pairwork.Sts practise reading reading the words aloud.Have some pairs to demonstrate .Correct their pronunciation when necessary
- Call on some pairs to demonstrate at the front of the class.
II.Vocabulary
Put the vocabulary sheet of paper on the board

- - Have sts turn their books to page 6.Ask sts to indentify the characters and what they are doing in the picture.Tell them that they are going to hear two girls talk about the man in the picture.Use poster and two puppets to present the situation.Explain the structures Who’s this? It’s my father .Play the recording for sts to listen,as they follow the lines in the speech bubbles. Mime the question and the answer and point to the appropriate speech bubble in their books.
 - Divide the class into two group.Point to the man in the picture and ask Who’s this? Have one group repeat the question.Repeat the question and have the other group repeat It’s my father.Repeat the step a few times.
- Play the recording all the way through
