Activity 1: Guess:
- T uses pictures on p33 and asks Ss to read riddle (câu đố ) 
- T plays the tape. Ss listen and point to the picture.
- T asks Ss to use pictures on p 33 to practice in pairs.
Activity 2: Review names and sounds of the letters from A to F:
- T asks Ss repeat the sounds of the letters from A to F
Activity 3:Introduce name and sound of the letters G, H , I, J:
- T introduces and explains the name and sounds of the letters G, H , I , J
- T: / g / là tên của chữ cái G
-T: / g/ âm của chữ g trong từ girl
- T does the same with:H : / h/ house
I : / i / ink
J: / j/ jump rope
- T plays the tape 
I/ Guess:
- Ss point right picture and describe.
- S 1: She is old
 She is pretty
 Who is she ?
- Ss: ( chỉ tranh nói)
She is my grand mother

2/ S1: She is pretty. She is short. Who is she ?
SS : she is my mother

II/ Review names and sounds of the letters from A to F:

- Ss repeat the names and sounds of the letters from A to F

B: / b/ book
C: / k/ cat
D: / d/ desk
E: /ε/ egg
F: / f/ fish
III/ Introduce name and sound of the letters G, H , I, J:
G: /g/ girl
- repeat /g/ girl
- H : / h/ house
I : / i / ink
J: / j/ jump rope
- Listen ,and repeat
4/ Other activities:
