Activity 1:Present “the family ” song
- T introduces the song:The family song
- T asks Ss to introduce the picture “ Kate’s family ”
- T asks Ss to look at their books and listen to the tape
- Ss listen again and point to the characters in book
- T reads the song ( sentence by sentence )
- T sings the song ( no music )
- T asks Ss to sing after the tape
Activity 2:Practice:
- T sings the first sentence
- T devides class in to 3 groups to sing
 T asks Ss to role play and sing after the tape
- T devides class in to groups to practice
I/ Present “the family ” song:
- Listen
- Introduce the picture “ Kate’s family Kate: mother, father , sister, brother
+ This is Kate’s father.
- Listen to the tape
- Listen and point
- Ss repeat sentence by sentence ( no music )
- Ss repeat 
- Sing after the tape
II/ Practice:
- Ss sing next sentence
- Practice in groups.
