Activity 1: Present the negative ( no ) question and answer pattern:
- T uses two puppets and some objects ( bags ,books, pencils , rulers.) to present the negative ( no ) question and answer.
Ex:
- Puppet A: ( chỉ vào chiếc cặp) Is this a book ?
- Puppet B: ( lắc đầu ) No, it isn’t. It’s a bag.
 - Puppet A: ( chỉ vào quyển sách ) 
 Is this a bag ?
- Puppet B: ( Lại lắc đầu ) : No , it isn’t. It’s a book.
T ( chỉ vào những đồ vật còn lại ) : Is this a ruler ?
- T and puppet B : No , it isn’t . It’s a chair.
- T uses puppet B to help Ss answer.
- T uses puppet A to help Ss make question then teacher and puppet B answer.
+ Notes: Intonation: rising and falling tone.
* Activity 2: Practice
- T devides class in to two groups to practice.
- T devides class in to pairs to practice.

- Ss and puppet A : Is this a desk ?

II/ Practice:
- Practice in groups.
group A: Is this a bag ?
group B : No ,it isn’t . It’s a book.
- Ss practice then change role.
Practice in pairs.
S1: Is this an eraser ?
S2: No , it isn’t . It’s a ruler.
4/ Other activities:
Chain drill: T: Is this a chair ?
S1: No, it isn’t . It’s a desk . Is this a cat ? ( hỏi hs tiếp theo )
 S2: No ,it isn’t . It’s a bag ( và cầm sẵn đồ vật để hỏi HS tiếp theo )
