Warm - up (5’) - Have Ss play game with “wish” - Ask Ss to write down two sentences on two different pieces of paper, each sentence begins with: + I am ............... (real situation) + I wish ................ - Collect these pieces and put them into two different bags. - Ask Ss to pick up the paper one at the time, read it loudly to the whole class - Play game 2. Exercises (35’) - Introduce some new words: 1. (to) pass the exam 2. (to) win the contest 3. itinerary (n) 4. (to) depart (v) a. Exercise 1: Preposition of time - Have Ss play a game:”Bingo” - Have Ss listen 5 prepositions of the teacher: if Ss have 5 prepositions the same as the teacher, they will win. at on Prepositions of time after up to in between - Have Ss do exercise 2, 3/ p.30 - Collect some papers to correct. Exercise 3: Adverb clauses of result - Have Ss look at the picture and answer some eliciting questions 1. What’s the matter with him? He has a toothache 2. Why?
