Greetings and checking attendances: +What is the weather like?
+Who is absence today?
Checking the old lesson.(4’)
-Optional.
-Introduce the topic of the lesson to the students.
New lesson(35’)
Pre – speaking 
*Help the students to practice speaking:
-Guide the students study some new words.
- Ask the students to look at the pictures then write the names.
-Explain the meaning.
- Write on the notice-books.
*Help the students to study the reported speech.(How to change direct speech into reported speech)
-Give some examples.
While- speaking 
1.-Explain the requests from the task.(let the students read the examples carefully.)
-Ask each student to make a questions using these places.( Great Wall, Ha Long Bay, Mount Everest, Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, The Pyramids)
- Then ask the other students to answer these questions.
2.- Let the students read the examples.
- Pay their attention to the structures.
-Ask the students to talk with a partner about their survey. 
-Call some students to read the answers aloud.
-Correct the mistakes if any.
Post- speaking
-Ask the students to write on the notice-books.

II. Practice.
1. Think of 10 famous places. You may use the names of places listed in the box or you can use your own ides. Write a Yes/no question about each place. Ask and answer the questions with partner.
Mai: Is Phong Nha Cave in Southern Viet Nam?
Hoa: No, it isn’t. 
Mai: Is PETRONAS Twin Towers the tallest building in the world?
Nga: Yes, it is. 
Mai: Is Big Ben in America? No,it isn’t
Mai: Is Eiffel Tower in France? Yes, it is.
Mai: Is Hue the capital of VietNam? No, it isn’t.
2. Talk about your classmates’ answers with your partner.
- I asked Huong if the Big Ben was in America. She said that it wasn’t.
-> I asked Hoa if / whether Phong Nha was in Southern VN and she said that it wasn’t. 
-> I asked Nga if Petronas Twin Towers was the tallest building in the world . She said that it was.
*Home works.
