+ T shows slide 1 on the board and explain exercise

+Ask the students look at the pictures and match the words to the right pictures.

-Introduce the topic of the lesson to the students.( We are going to read a story about to environment.)

Objectives.
-At the end of the lesson students can:
+Read “ The Green Gazette” to get the details.

What is the weather like?
Who is absence today?
Checking the old lesson.(3’)
+ T shows slide 1 on the board and explain exercise
+Ask the students look at the pictures and match the words to the right pictures.
-Introduce the topic of the lesson to the students.( We are going to read a story about to environment.)
New lesson.(35’)
Pre - reading 
*Guide the students study the new words by slide 2:
-Read then write the words on the boards.
-Students repeat in chorus.
-Explain the meanings of the words to the students.
-Students read the words again.
-Guide the students learn the passive form.
+Ask the students to find the passive sentences in the dialogue.
While- reading
*Help the students to practice reading:
-Introduce the content to the students:
(We are going to read a articlce about environment in a news paper.)
-T show slide 3 and ask the students to read the text and check true or false 
- Ss read the text and do exercise
- Call some Ss answer then T gives key
 1.Help the students to read the text then find the answers by slide 4.
-Let the students read the text silently.
- Read the text again and work in groups to find out the answers.
-Call some good students to read the text.(if any)
2.T shows slide 5 and explain the request from the task.
-Let the students work in groups, read the text again then find the answers.
-Call some students to check.
Work in groups, discuss about these things: car tires, milk bottles, glass, .... ( using the passive voice).

1. Answer the questions: 
a. People clean and refill empty milk bottles. 
b. The glass is broken up , melted and made into new glassware.
c. The Oregon government made a new law that there must be deposit on all drink cans. The deposit is returned when people bring the cans back for recycling.

e. If we have a recycling story to share, we can call or fax the magazine at 5.265.456
2. Work with a partner. Complete the sentences to make the list of recycled things.
Car tires are recycled to make pipes and floor coverings.
Milk bottles are cleaned and refilled ( with milk)
