Once a farmer lived a comfortable live with his family. His chicken laid many eggs which the farmer used to sell to buy food and clothing for his family.

One day, he went to collect the eggs and discovered one of the chickens laid a gold egg. He shouted excitedly to his wife,” We are rich! We are rich!”His wife wanted more, so her husband cut open all the chickens and find more gold eggs. Unfortunately, he couldn’t find any eggs. When he finished all, the chickens were dead.

-Who is absence today?
Checking the old lesson.(4’)
-Call students to read the conversation..
-Introduce the topic of the lesson to the students.

Pre - listening 
-Introduce some new words to the students.
While- listening 
- Students predict the order.
- Students listen to the Audio-CD one time.
- Check their prediction.
-Students listen again and choose the most suitable moral lesson.
-Let the students listen more and answer the questions.

We are rich!”His wife wanted more, so her husband cut open all the chickens and find more gold eggs. Unfortunately, he couldn’t find any eggs. When he finished all, the chickens were dead.
There was no more eggs of any kind for the foolish farmer and his greedy wife.

 “ Don’t be foolish and greedy”.
