I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
	˜ know the kinds of books.
 ˜ use the prepositions to talk about position of books
 ˜ ask for and give directions.
II. PREPARATIONS: pictures, cassette.
III. PROCEDURES:

1. WARM – UP(5’)
- Have students stick the flash cards of prepositions of position and pictures correctly: on the left/right (of), in the middle (of), in the corner (of), next to, in the center of
- Ask students to read the prepositions.
2. PRESENTATION(12’)
* Activity 1
- Ask students to look at the picture on the page 47.
- Ask questions
 Where is this?
Introduce the new lesson.
* Activity 2 - Present vocabulary: library, librarian, rack, shelf, science book, rack, dictionary, reader, novel, reference book, welcome.
- Guide ss to read the new words.
- Have ss play game “slap the board”
* Notes: This / That
 These / Those
 Ex: This is a book. => These are books
 That is a newspaper => those are newspapers.
3. PRACTICE(18’)
* Activity 1
- Play the tape B1 for ss
- Ask students to practice the dialogue in pairs.
- Call students to practice before the class.
* Activity 2
- Have ss ask and answer the questions B1
- Call ss ask and answer before the class.
- Correct mistakes
 a. The magazines are on the racks 
 b. The newspapers are on the racks 
 c. The math and the science books are on the shelves on the left.
 d. The History and Geography books, Dictionaries and Literature in Vietnamese are on the shelves on the right.
 e. The books in English are at the back of the library.
 f. The library opens at 7 a.m.
 g. The library closes at 4.30 p.m
