* At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to use relative clauses and adverb clauses of concession and do exercises.
* Contents:

 + Grammar: relative clauses; adverb clauses of concession.
* Skills: + Know how to use relative clauses; adverb clauses of concession.
 + Do the exercises.

1. Activity 1:
- Introduce there are two kinds of relative clause in writen language.
- Explain two examples. 
+ Defining adjective clauses. M§ LH x¸c ®Þnh lµ mÖnh ®Ò ®­îc dïng ®Ó x¸c ®Þnh danh tõ ®øng tr­íc nã.M§X§ lµ mÖnh ®Ì cÇn thiÕt cho nghÜa cña c©u.
+ Non defining adjective clauses
- Show some relative adverbs and preposition used with relative pronoun
- Give some examples.
- Explain the request of ex1
- Tell Ss to do ex1 join the sentences use relative clause
- Ask Ss to compare the answers with a friend
- Make necessary correction and give correct answers
- Explain the request of ex2.
- 2Ss read examples in the book.
- Ask Ss to look at the pictures in the book and use the relative clauses to describe each of the people in the pictures 
follow the examples in the book. 
- Some Ss to read their answers aloud
- Give suggested answers 
2. Activity 2: 
- Repeat Adv clauses of concession.
- Ask Ss to do ex4.
- Explain new words(bureau (n), predict (v): dù b¸o)
- Let Ss check their answers for each others 
- Feedback and give correct answer.

1/ Relative pronouns: WHO, WHOM (chØ t©n ng÷), WHOSE (chØ së h÷u, lu«n ®øng gi÷a 2 danh tõ), WHICH, THAT.

2/ Kinds of adjective clauses:
a, Defining adjective clauses: M§ tÝnh tõ x¸c ®Þnh lµ mÖnh ®Ò ®­îc dïng ®Ó x¸c ®Þnh danh tõ ®øng tr­íc nã, vµ kh«ng thÓ bá.
eg2: The boy who is standing is my friend.
b, Non-defining adjective clauses: M§ tÝnh tõ kh«ng x¸c ®Þnh lµ mÖnh ®Ò cung cÊp thªm th«ng tin hoÆc gi¶i thÝch thªm vÒ mét ng­êi hoÆc mét vËt ®· ®­îc x¸c ®Þnh. M§LH kh«ng nhÊt thiÕt ph¶i cã trong c©u, ko cã nã c©u v½n ®ñ nghÜa.M§ tÝnh tõ kh«ng x¸c ®Þnh ®­îc t¸ch víi M§ chÝnh=1 hoÆc 2 dÊu ph¶y.
