2. Passive form
How to change active form to passive form
Active: S + V + O
Passive: S + be + PP + (by + O)
* The verb Be in the passive form and the main verb in the active form must be put in the same tense.
Ex: Someone stole my car.
 My car was stolen.
Someone has stolen my car.
 My car has been stolen.
* The agent is usually omitted if the subject in the active sentence is: Someone, something,

3. Use “mind” to make requests
Form:
Would you mind if + S + V (past tense)?
Do you mind if + S +V (present tense)?
Do/Would you mind + V-ing?
* “Would” is more polite than “Do”
