-T ask Ss play the recording in part 1(once only).
-Ask Ss to listen and say who are the passage are about.
-T: set the scene:
Some Ss like some famouse sports/ gamesyou listen and practice in part 2 and 3.
- Play the recording again. While Ss listen, they have to write down T/F.
- Play the recording the third time for Ss to fill in the blanks.
-Ss can share their answers before listening to the recording a final time to check.
-First brainstorm with Ss for the necessary language. Allow to refer to the reading and other sections for useful language.
-Note interesting expressions and language on the board.
-Tell Ss to wrie a draft first, Ss should use the cues and their own ideas.
-Then Ss actually write a paragraph of about 80-120 words about the sport/ game they like, covering as many ideas as possible.

Hello. My name’s Hai. I love sports. I play volleyball at school and I often go cycling with my dad at the weekend. But my favourite sport is judo. I practsie at the judo club three time a week.
My nale’s Alice. I’m twelve years old. I don’t like doing sport very much, but I like watching ice-skating on TV. My favourite hobby is playing chess. My friend and I play chess every Saturday.
Hi. I’m Bill. I’m in grade six at Rosemarrick Lower Secondary school. After my lessons, I like to play computer game. The game I like best is “Angry Birds”. I often play it for half an hour before dinner.
I hope that I can create a new kind of computer game in the future.

Talk about favourite sport:
The sports are not only just the exercises but also the hobbies. Our health will be better and more interested if we train the sports. So nowadays, almost everyone in the world usually play some sports such as:football, tenis, rugby, volleyball... So do I. I like sport activities very much but I prefer the chess to most of all.
The chess help me to train the intelligence. I feel happily when I am a winner and I also understand more the patient when I lose. I often play the chess in the evening. After I have dinner, my father and I play the chess from 8.00 pm to 10. pm. Sometimes I play it later if there are some good shows on TV. 
In this August, I was invited to the contest of chess which performed in Thai Nguyen city; I won the top three contestants. Everybody congratulated me with full of flowers. I was very happy.That was a present to my training.
Or;
my favourite sport is basketball. I started to playing it when i was studying at my high shool.And the reasons i like basketball are that playing basketball because it helps me feel more healthyer and more self-confident (câu thế này gọn mà hợp lí hơn).I am always shy or shame about my heavy appearance toward strange poeple peoplebut due to playing basketball my body and emotion changes dramatically!! 
however, i stopped playing basketball because of my study .I have no much time for going to the club to play it.
What a pity!!

*T: Set the scene:
As usual, this is the review and drill section of the unit, so encourage Ss not to refer back to the unit pages. Instead, they can use what can use what they have learnt during the unit to help them answer the questions. Ss need to see how far they have progressed and which areas need further practice.
*Practice:
-Ask Ss use the tenses they have learnt(use the power points). Then practice some exercises.
-Have SS write their answers in their notebooks. T checks their answers.
-SS work in pairs or groups to finish or write the sentences.
-T gives correction.
-Ss do the task individually first. Then they can check their answer with a partner before discussing the answers as a class.
-T gives corrections. Have some Ss read the whole passage aloud (may be sentence by sentence). The rest of the class should track the text with their fingers as the other Ss read.
*Production:
-SS read the questions ans answers once or twice (they can read aloud). Then match,
-Ss work in pairs and role play the questions and answers. If there is time, have them write all the sentences in their notebooks.
*Further practice:
Ask Ss complete the self-assessement. Identify any difficulties/ weak ereas and provide further practice as needed.
