I. OBJECTIVES: 
Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to talk about things in the 
classroom and count numbers from 21 – 100, know the rules of changing Nouns (singular or plural)
II. PREPARATIONS: book, cassette player and tape 
III. PROCEDURES:

1. Warm – Up: (5’)
- Have students play game “ Jumble words”
 + thmoer = mother
 + tesirs = sister 
 + borerth = brother
 + athfre = father
 + mayfil = family 
2. Presentation: (16’)
- Ask Ss to look at part 1/p.35
- Introduce vocabulary:
1. Twenty one: 21 
2. Thirty: 30 
3. Forty: 40 
4. Fifty: 50 
5. Sixty: 60
6. Seventy: 70
7. Eighty: 80
8. Ninety: 90
9. One hundred: 100
10. bench (n)
- Ask Ss to practice new words. 
- Introduce structure:
 Singular noun + (s, es) 
 Plural noun
 There is + singular N/ There are + plural N
Ex: board ] boards
 There is one door.
 There are two windows.
3. Practice: (14’)
- Play the tape for Ss, ask them to listen and repeat the numbers.
- Call some Ss to practice in front of class.
- Ask Ss to look at the picture part 2/p.36, count the items in the classroom.
Ex: 1 door (s)
 4 windows
 1 board (s)
- Call some Ss to read the answer. 
- Correct.
4. Production: (8’)
- Ask Ss to practice: count the items in their classroom.
- Ask Ss to count the numbers from 1 to 100 again.
- Call some pairs to practice.
- Correct

 - Ask Ss to learn by heart numbers 21 - 100, 
Prepare the next lesson Unit 3: B 3, 4, 5/p.37
