_Sing the song We will go over the mountain from Unit 5
_ Introduce the new lesson
II/ Presentation
Look, listen and repeat
_ Ask Ps to open the book on page 48 and look at the pictures : a,b,c and d.
_ Help Ps to identify the characters : Zack, Lawan. Tell Ps that they are going to look at the dialogue in their students’ book , listen to the recording and repeat the dialogue between Zack and Lawan, Nam and Lawan. 
_ Play the recording through for Ps to listen to the dialogue 
_Play the recording again, pausing after each line for Ps to repeat 
_ Divide the class into two groups . Ask one group to repeat Zack’s part and the other Lawan’s part, Nam’s part and Lawan’s part.
_ Call some Ps to demonstrate the task in front of the class.
_ Check to make sure Ps can repeat and understand the dialogue.
Point, ask and answer
_ Ask Ps to look at the Pictures a,b,c and d on page 6 . tell them to identify the people in each picture 
_Guide Ps some sentence pattrens:
Where’s he from?
_ He’s from Malaysia.
Where in Malaysia is he from?
_ Kuala Lumpur
_ Do the task with one P as an example 
 Example :
Zack/ Malaysia/Kuala Lumpur
T : Where’s he from?
P : He’s from Malaysia.

P: Kuala Lumpur
_Ask Ps to work in pairs , one P asks and the other responses,. Repeat the step , but this time ask Ps to swap their roles. 
_ Select some pairs of Ps to demonstrate the task in front of the class .
_ Monitor the activity , check Ps’ pronunciation and offer the help when necessary.

_ Tell Ps that they are going to listen to the recording , match the information they hear to the pictures and tick the box in the approciate picture

_Play the recording again, for Ps to listen and tick the correct pictures.
