Activity 1: Present vocabulary
- T uses teacher’s cards and mime to introduce the vocabulary.
- T uses mime to explain meaning
- T guides Ss to read new words
Activity 2:Listen and repeat
- Ask for Ss to open the book in page 24
- Play the tape
- Play the tape again. 
- Correct the mistakes.
Vocabulary tip:
- Từ “ old” dùng cho người, súc vật, đồ vật: an old friend, an old cat, an old book
- Ngược lại “ young” chỉ dùng cho người,và súc vật: A young mother, a young cat, Còn đồ vật chúng ta dùng “new”.
Activity 3:Practice
- T gives cards for Ss and asks them to stand up. T says an adjective
Ex: T: ( old ) học sinh nào có tranh chỉ đúng từ ấy thì đứng im. Các hs khác ngồi xuống
- T puts cards from 61 to 68 on the board and numbers from 1 to 8. on the cards
- T asks Ss to practice in pairs

- Old :học sinh nào có tranh chỉ đúng từ ấy thì đứng im. Các hs khác ngồi xuống
- Ss: ( nói tính từ tương ứng với số ấy )

S2 : chỉ vào bức tranh tương ứng
